A dream came true
You were back in my arms
Your cheek on mine
Warm and soft
Through all the heartache and pain that had passed
I could imagine nothing else
Which could fill my heart with gold again

And so now it seems so unreal,
Sitting here writing alone,
With your warmth leaving my life for what seems the last time.
Too sad to cry, too deep
Broken apart from my soulmate and shining sun
How I wish you could have made it.
