Seriously.

I'm totally convinced that the best guitar solo of all time is Jimmy Page's solo in Stairway to Heaven, on the film "The Song Remains The Same". It's just mindblowingly played, with the amount of soul and personality that few guitarists can match. Combined with the fact that such a style of playing was so new at the time, listening to it makes you realise how significant that solo alone is in the history of modern rock music.

Fuck Steve Vai, fuck Eddie and fuck Joe. This is IT. The BEST. Ever. Of ALL time.
